GARLIC & ROSEMARY GARAM MASALA STEAK FRIES
INGREDIENTS
2-3 Large Russet Potatoes
5 cloves of garlic peeled & smashed
1 Tbsp of Sadaf Garam Masala Spice Mix
1 Tbsp of light brown sugar
3 sprigs of rosemary, minced.
2 tsp Kosher Salt
1 tsp Black pepper
Olive Oil
DIRECTIONS
Start off by prepping the potatoes (wash and dry off).
Next, cut potatoes into wedges to make steak fries.
In a medium sized bowl toss together the fries with the Garam Masala spice mix, brown sugar, kosher salt & black pepper.
To cook, pre- heat your oven to 350 degrees.
Next, in a heavy bottom skillet pour in oil and heat over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, add in the steak fries in a single layer. Cook on both sides until golden brown (about 4 min per side). Repeat if you have more, keep the first batch on a sheet pan lined with a kitchen towel.
Once all of the fries are golden, sprinkle the smashed garlic and half of the minced rosemary over the first layer of fries directly into the skillet.
Next, add the second layer of fries on top and sprinkle with the remainder of the minced rosemary.
Place the skillet into the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
