Nut Free Charoset

Ingredients:

1 Fuji apple 

1 Bosch pear 

1 Pink lemon (yellow is fine too). 

3 Dried apricots 

3 Dried prunes

3 Dried dates

1/4 cup Golden raisins 

1/2 in. of fresh ginger root

1 Tbsp Honey

2 tsp Ground cinnamon 

Dark Grape juice

Recipe:

  1. Rough chop both the fresh and dried fruits.
  2. Peel and dice the fresh ginger root. 
  3. Juice 1/2 the lemon, then add into a food processor with the chopped fruit (fresh & dry), the honey, cinnamon, and 1/4  cup of dark grape juice (or Manischewits). 
  4. Blend together, then check on the consistency, if it's too thick add 1/4 cup of grape juice at a time until it looks like a chunky salsa.
